BiliSnap respects the intellectual property rights of creators, artists and rights holders. This page explains our position and the process for takedown requests.

Our architecture

BiliSnap does not host, store, cache, or upload any video, audio, or image content. Media streams are transmitted directly from Bilibili's official content delivery networks to the user's device. We operate as a technical utility only, similar to a web browser.

Fair use & personal use

Downloading publicly accessible content for personal, offline viewing is lawful in many jurisdictions, particularly for time-shifting or accessibility purposes. Users remain responsible for complying with local copyright law and the rights of creators.

Takedown procedure

If you are a rights holder and believe our service improperly facilitates access to your exclusive, non-public content:

Send a request through the contact page (choose "Copyright & DMCA Inquiries")
Include: identification of the copyrighted work, the specific URL(s) involved, a good-faith statement, your contact details, and the physical or electronic signature authorized under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) or your local equivalent
We review and respond within 48 hours, and can implement technical blocks for specific URLs at our proxy level

Counter-notification

If you believe a block was applied in error, contact us with a counter-statement — we follow standard counter-notice procedures.

Repeat infringers

We reserve the right to restrict access for users making clearing infringing use of the service.
